1968 Cessna 337C Aircraft For Parts or Rebuild

Here is your chance to own a twin engine aircraft without the size of a twin engine aircraft. This Cessna 337 with only 1790 hrs Total Time suffered a gear up landing after the new owner mismanaged the fuel selectors and put the plane down in a field. This beauty received tons and tons of attention and maintaince before this mishap. Has you see this 337 was equiped with "MT" wood propellers, composite spinners, cleveland wheels and brakes, off the fire wall "spin off" oil filter adapter, and tons more!
Both engines are Continental IO-360-C with only 520 hrs smoh and only 1790 hrs TT. Both received prop strikes at idle but unlike normal "aluminum" propellers these propellers are wood and quickly shattered on contact. Knowing that the cranks were in no way hurt or under stress I went ahead and pulled the props and dialed each crank and found them both to be at .000 runout.
The entire panel with instruments is also included, the radios and trays with connectors and two indicators shown in BLUE are NOT included in this auction. They will be for sale in another auction.
Now the bad, due to the gear up landing all gear doors are damaged. Most belly skins and ribs are also damaged as well. The right side vertical bottom did impact the ground causing it to bend up. It did not hurt the rudder. All six blades are broken. Behind the rear carry through spar for the wings on the rigt there is a winkle in the skin that extends down to the bottom of the rear side window. The right wing also received a winkle around the rear spar area. Both wing tips did touch the ground.

Please note that this plane is 42 years old. There are little nicks and dents in some areas from years of flight. However this is no corrison, this is a clean airplane. The interior is a 6 out of 10, nothing special but will get the job done. Every piece of cowling and fairing and panel there and included. All the nuts and bolts are there as well.

The full set of logs and FAA bill of sale will be presented to the highest bidder if the reserve is met. If you price everything out that you are getting you see the my buy it now price is why lower than its worth in parts.
